ROCKONBOOMERS

Reflecting on the past, some of the music from 50 years ago remains unparalleled.

As the greatest generation has nearly passed on, we baby boomers are now the last great generation on this planet to know what life was like before social media.

Growing up during that period was the best of times.

The children of the Greatest Generation found employment in the American manufacturing sector, which underwent significant growth and modernization after the war.

Boomers have more time relevant MUSIC, manners, morals, and coolness than any other generation!

Will be covering topics that concern where we were, and what we’re leaving behind, and what happened along the way what’s being done by corporations, with no regards for humans on this planet Earth.

The struggle for civil rights in America continues, yet it’s important to remember that some Baby Boomers faced significant physical risks during their activism, and tragically, some lost their lives. As we express our views on social media today, often doing little beyond sharing hashtags, let’s take a moment to honor those Boomers who endured severe hardships to ensure that Black Americans could exercise their constitutional voting rights.

A generation that is passing and unfortunately it will never return no matter how hard anybody tries
Then the last 30 or so years brought greed to a whole new level as we step into the so-called New World.

As the cold war looks like it’s back for the generation after us either thru nuclear or with no destruction cyber war. We lived in one of the best times in human history after the so-called greatest generation that keep our freedoms alive. Then Boomers came and brought change so we could try to live together and get along. But now as then, politics get in the way from civil rights to clean energy and more.

Then the last 30 or so years brought greed to a whole new level as we step into the so-called New World.

Lyrics that inspire reflection on humanity retain their profound impact even 50 years later.

Peter Rivera performs his Rare Earth hit “Hey Big Brother” with the Celebrate with Peter Rivera Band.

Peter Rivera was born and raised in Detroit. Being in Detroit, Motown got wind of the band and offered to let them record for a few nights to see what they could do.  This was their “big break” into the recording industry. Peter is considered to be one of the premier singers/drummers of all time.  He was the voice of all the Rare Earth hits as well as the man behind the drums. His passion for music and unsurpassed talent earned him standing ovations wherever he plays.
